Crew leaves aircraft after it crash lands at 1222 hours local Irag time - 27 JUN 08.

The crew puts up a hasty perimeter until help arrives.

Iraqi police arrive first - CSM Miller meets them and tells them what happened.

After all other passengers are evacuated by helicopter, COL Ceroli, CSM Miller, LTC Goldsmith and 2 members of the Asymetric Warfare Group remain on site, secure the aircraft until US ground forces arrive, and enter aircraft to recover weapons, communications gear, night vision and other senstive items.

The aircraft landed intact and made a 600-yard path in a field 10 kilometers outside the airport.

 This is a close-up of the split of the floor.  Dust filled the cabin through this crack in the floor after landing and made it hard to see and breath until the emergency exits were opened within a minute of landing.

Iraqi police forces showed up first with US Army advisors - they have unloaded water for the crew.

Stryker infrantry company from the 25th Infantry Division arrives to secure the site and transports the crew and gear back to Baghdad.

COL Ceroli, CSM Miller and LTC Goldsmith have probably jumped (with a parachute) out of this bird at Ft. Bragg - but never again - this plane is a complete loss.

 The plane now gets destroyed.

That was New Cook County Correctional Center in Chicago , Illinois. (I guess if I ever break the law, I’d better do it in Illinois!  Homeless people should have it so good!)
Once again the taxpayer gets stung.

It also shows that in most cases the quality of life for prisoners has improved considerably from what you might expect.  And I always thought prison was for punishment!!   Just in case you ever get these two environments mixed up, this comparison chart should make things a little bit clearer:

I am writting this slow becuase I know you cant read fast. We dont live where we did when you left. Your dad red in the paper where most accidents within twenty five miles of home so we moved. I wont be able to send you the address because the last family took the numbers with them for their next house so they wouldn’t have to change their address.

This place has a washing machine. The first day I put in 4 shirts and pulled the chain, I have not seen them since. It only rain twice here this week, 3 days the 1st time and 4 days the 2nd time. The coat you wanted me to send you, Aunt Sue said it would be a little to heavy to send in the mail with them buttons, so we cut them off and put them in the pocket.

We got a bill from the funeral home, it said if we dont make the last payment on Gramma’s funeral, up she comes.

About your father, he got a new job. he has over 600 people under him. He cuts grass at the cemetery. About your sister, she had a baby this morning. I havent found out wether it’s a boy or a girl so I don’t know if you are an aunt or an uncle.

3 of 4 friends went off the bridge in a pickup truck. One was the driver the other 2 was in the back. The driver got out, he rolled down the window and swam to safety. The other 2 drowned because they couldnt put the tailgate down.
Your Uncle John fell in a whiskey vat. Some men tried to pull him out but he fought them off, so he drowned. We cremated him and he burned for 3 days.

Not much more news this time, nothing much happened. Write more often.

Dress Code:
1) You are advised to come to work dressed according to your salary.
2) If we see you wearing Prada shoes and carrying a Gucci bag, we will assume you are doing well financially and therefore do not need a raise.
3) If you dress poorly, you need to learn to manage your money better, so that you may buy nicer clothes, and therefore you do not need a raise.
4) If you dress just right, you are right where you need to be and therefore you do not need a raise.

Sick Days:

We will no longer accept a doctor’s statement as proof of sickness. If you are able to go to the doctor, you are able to come to work.

Personal Days:
Each employee will receive 104 personal days a year.
They are called Saturdays & Sundays.

Bathroom Breaks:
Entirely too much time is being spent in the toilet. There is now a strict three-minute time limit in the stalls. At the end of three minutes, an alarm will sound, the toilet paper roll will retract, the stall door will open, and a picture will be taken. After your second offense, your picture will be posted on the company bulletin board under the ‘Chronic Offenders’ category. Anyone caught smiling in the picture will be sectioned under the company’s mental health policy.

Lunch Break:
* Skinny people get 30 minutes for lunch, as they need to eat more, so that they can look healthy.
* Normal size people get 15 minutes for lunch to get a balanced meal to maintain their average figure.
* Chubby people get 5 minutes for lunch, because that’s all the time needed to drink a Slim-Fast.
