It’s Not a Tumor; Oh wait.. It is!
According to a story from a London newspaper called the Telegraph, there is a man that has a horrible facial disfigurement resulting from a tumor. However, a British doctor says that he can finally cure this man.
Because of his religious beliefs, Jose Mestre has refused operations and as a result, the tumor grew out of control. In his early years (above), the tumor presented itself and was not that unsightly. Over the years, it just continued to grow.
Today, the tumor is 15 inches long and weighs in at 12 pounds. Additionallly, because of the gross disfigurement, Jose is blind in one eye and has difficulty eating.
One of Britain’s leading facial surgeons is proposing a procedure that would employ ultrasound waves to coagulate his own blood prior to the operation. This should allow the tumor to be removed without heavy bleeding, allowing Jose to go without a blood transfusion, satisfying his religious beliefs.
The doctor involved in this procedure will be a Dr. Iain Hutchinson. Dr. Hutchinson says that he should be able to remove about 80 percent of the growth. Jose’s condition is known as haemangioma, which is a result of abnormalties in the capillaries and veins in his face.

Kate, seriously, this was not at all beyond his control, he could have gotten an operation but his religious beliefs wouldn’t allow him to get a blood transfusion. That’s absolutely ridiculous, so yes, if that’s his choice, I really don’t see how anybody could kiss him.

the tumor itself was totally beyond his control, the growth happened without control, however the removal WAS his choice, but it’s a horrible thing to say ” eww how can she kiss him”… the disfigurement doesn’t make him unworthy of affection. you’re seriously a dick!

1) whether it was within his control or not he didnt choose to PUT it there himself , and either way doesnt mean he doesnt deserve love from people.. thats called a familys unconditional love for a reason.

he put his faith first and knowing how much suffering hed go through in life, he still chose to go through it for his beliefs, and that takes huge amounts of bravery, confidence, and character, somethings which many of you dont have. and look he was rewarded theyve managed to find a procedure which satisfies his religous limitations.
3) because of such character we need more people like him in the world, and its those of you who are hiding behind your keyboards saying such horrible things who really need to go stand in front of a train, jump off a building, headbutt an oncoming bullet, neck yourself i dont care but we really dont need you.
