Dental Breast Procedures
According to a story from Yahoo news (story), a California dentist has been accused of fondling the breasts of his female patients. The dentist, Mark Anderson, who practices in Woodland, CA would routinely massage his patient’s breasts. Acording to Anderson’s attorney, Anderson is arguing that chest massages are an appropriate procedure in certain dental cases. Allegedly, some dental journals discuss the need to massage the pectoral muscles to treat a common jaw problem.
The dentist supposedly performed this “procedure” on 27 patients. At least one patient said that the dentist did this 6 times over a 2 year period.
At this point, Anderson’s dental license has been suspended while the case is being investigated.
The real question is how do we get this procedure incorporated into the IT field. For example, “Ma’am in order for your Internet connection to work, I’ll need to massage your breasts.. um, I mean pectoral muscles.”
